Slasher-movie fans will be cheered by the arrival of a new masked villain in SMILEY, headed for exclusive theatrical bookings later this month. You can see the just-released official poster after the jump.

SMILEY is about a serial killer who dwells in the Internet world but can be summoned into ours, and may be terrorizing an emotionally fragile college student, Ashley (Caitlin Gerard). Michael Gallagher directed from a script he wrote with UNDEAD OR ALIVE’s Glasgow Phillips; the movie hits 28 AMC theaters in 14 markets October 12.
