After projecting a release date of next August, Dimension Films' SATANIC is casting up and revealing plot.
The Wrap reports that Ashley Greene (TWILIGHT, THE APPARITION) has joined Hayley Bennett (Joe Dante's recent THE HOLE) in the film about a crew of college students who don't go home for the holidays and end up paying. As they're attacked over Thanksgiving break, one of the friends takes the lead and attempts to keep everyone safe, while uncovering just who's after them. One would imagine, given the title, some sort of ritual is going down.
Long gestating and previously known as KRISTY, Oliver Blackburn (DONKEY PUNCH) is now directing from a script by Anthony Jaswinski (partly responsible for VANISHING ON 7TH ST). SATANIC is expected August 30, 2013.
